We’re not your stereotypical recruitment agency…

We don’t do suits and we don’t do pushy sales. Instead, we do creativity and personality and we do honest, credible consultation with long-term, sustainable relationship building always in mind. Our clients, our candidates and the positive experiences they have working with us influence everything we do here at Henry Nicholas HQ, although this just seems like common sense to us.

We built Henry Nicholas around this attitude by quite simply doing recruitment properly: being honest, being human and crucially, being effective. You won’t spot a suit or tie in sight at our office, but you will find a bunch of friendly, knowledgeable folk who share the same attitudes when it comes to our style of recruitment, who’ve been given extensive, in-house training and who really care about shaping careers and growing businesses.

As specialists in marketing, digital and creative recruitment across the UK, we work day in, day out, immersed in this fascinating sector. Because this is all we do, we know our markets, we know what talented people look like and we know where to find them, even if they aren’t actively looking for a new role.

Yes, we pop our targeted adverts out across the major job boards in the hope that a fantastic candidate drops into our inbox, but we spend the majority of our time being proactive. We interrogate CV databases, get out and meet people and grow our already substantial network of connections. We evolve to meet the challenges that arise from the ever-changing nature of our sector. We find the very best and we make sure we match them with the right role in the right company who they can build their career with. 

You’ll also find that the word ‘competition’ isn’t heard much around the office (well, apart from our in-house challenge to determine which team gets a few free beers at the end of the month!). We see the bigger picture and know that what’s good for our clients and candidates is good for our business, and therefore good for our consultants. As such, we work as a team to share, advise and support each other. We’re a family at Henry Nicholas, and what’s good for you is good for us.
