SAS / SPSS Data Analyst - Bristol - 35,000-45,000 + benefits

Senior Insight / Data Analyst needed for one of the UK`s leading direct marketing agencies. Established well over a decade ago and consistently pushing the boundaries of direct marketing, this highly successful agency is growing their team yet again. There are 14 analysts in the Insight team currently and the team is expanding. The agency has won numerous awards and the Insight team has been key to their success.

We are recruiting for a Senior Analyst to work in the Bristol team, with line management responsibilities for at least 2 junior analysts. Along with managing a small team, day to day work would include targeting modelling for campaign selections, response analysis, propensity modelling, customer understanding and segmentation.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to add insight into business critical decisions through the analysis of customer data. The role is within a supportive environment with the opportunity for professional growth.

The person profile:

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 4 years direct marketing analysis experience, either agency or client side. They will have worked in a database environment, and have experience of modelling techniques within SAS or SPSS. .

You would preferably have management / mentoring experience, and be able to demonstrate experience of working on complex analysis projects from taking the brief to presenting to client (internal or external) with minimal support.

We`re looking for someone who loves a challenge, and will face them with an open mind. As part of role you`ll receive analysis briefs from non-experts, develop them into detailed project plans and complete the analysis with minimal support, assist junior analysts with interpreting complex analysis briefs and helping them complete the analysis, identify the most appropriate analysis/modelling technique for a project, and produce clear, concise analysis with recommendations for future campaigns and analysis projects.
