The experience we need.
- A life science degree
- 1 year of experience working in a communications role, preferably but not essentially, within a science focused organisation
- Outstanding written English with proven editing experience
- Experience of commercial digital marketing and comms, such as updating social media and websites, blogging, email campaigns and writing press releases.
The successful Communications Executive will promote scientific news and the fantastic work of the organisation through digital content, communications and press releases. You'll be confident and outgoing to establish relationships with the media, as well as scientific experts who will contribute to stories. You will have the experience and ability to write for different audiences, adapting tone to engage with scientists and the general public alike.
This global not-for-profit organisation works within the science sector and has a genuine impact on society. As Communications Manager, you'll be an integral part of an award winning marketing and comms team.
What you’ll get in return.
The successful Communications Executive will earn a one year fixed term contract with a basic salary of £24-26k, as well as a fantastic package.
