We are really excited to be searching for an agency planner / strategist to work for a purpose driven creative agency in Bristol. This permanent role will suit somebody currently working within a creative or comms agency looking for progression into a highly creative and strategic agency. We are looking for a planner /strategist to own, lead and deliver great marketing strategies across all clients and the business. You would be joining a very talented planning function and alongside a highly creative team.
The experience we need.
We would love somebody with at least 2 years planning experience, ideally 4+ within a creative agency environment. Here are some of the following skills.
-Can find the critical insight or starting block from often broad and complex customer/brand/project information
-Genuine interest/understanding of human behaviour
-Brand shaping/strategy development - confident in developing brand positioning, propositions, messaging and impactful brand plans
-Ability to develop long term strategy for a variety of clients, utilising market, customer and brand insight
-Campaign planning, including good knowledge of utilising multiple channels to achieve different objectives
-Able to build and tell a compelling story, both for clients and for customers
-Ability to distil complex information into compelling and inspirational creative briefs
-Confident in critiquing creative output and providing insight-led feedback
-Own the strategic and planning phases of all projects.
-Strategy includes business, brand and marketing strategies.
-Planning means communications / activation planning.
-Prepare, lead and run workshops.
-Prepare and lead key (creative) briefs.
-Provide clear direction to creative teams, enabling highly effective, strategically sound and on-brief outputs.
-Oversee insight and evaluation phases.
-Present strategy with passion, persuasion and clarity.
-Continuously improve the agency planning capability.
-Drive the internal upskilling of account and planning teams.
-Line manage external planning resource.
Based in Bristol, but able to provide a hybrid working environment for the successful candidate. This agency is small in numbers, but work on a global scale for a number of purpose drive brands. What you'll get in return.
The salary for this role is a guide between £40,000 - £45,000, we would like to speak with candidates who are still looking for a little more and less than this. Full benefits can be discussed on the phone.
