We are looking for a Head of Paid Media to champion paid digital marketing both internally within the agency and externally, and to lead a department in the delivery of effective and innovative paid digital campaigns for clients. The experience we need.
Proven ability to effectively manage paid digital advertising channels including Google Ads, Bing, social media advertising, programmatic display and other forms of digital advertising.
-A current Google Ads Individual Qualification is expected to be maintained, along with agency Google Partner status with appropriate team certification to maintain that status.
-Experience with Google Display & Video 360 or other similar programmatic platform, or the desire to learn this quickly.
-Experience in setting up new accounts to include account uploads, tracking / goal set-up and report template creation.
-Experience in using Google Analytics to monitor and report on paid digital campaigns.
-A digital native
-Strong, proven analytical ability; able to effectively use online resources to research both client industries and paid search best practice, using data to analyse performance and make clear recommendations, and strong mathematical/statistical understanding.
-Ability to research and create compelling advert copy, by researching and understanding a client's offering, key messaging and analysing competitor's adverts. A demonstrable understanding of how advert copy and creative can influence and engage with potential customers.
-Ability to work with colleagues (briefing in-house designers, for example) to create ad creative with impact - including leading a potential customer through a consideration and purchase funnel using a defined sequence of ad messaging and creative.
-An innovator across PPC, paid social media, programmatic display and other forms of paid digital marketing
The role requires collaboration across multi-disciplined campaign teams, ensuring that tracking and measurement is in place for paid digital campaigns, that effective day-to-day optimisation delivers highly performing campaigns that meet campaign objectives, and that ad creative has impact and aligns with client brand guidelines.

-To manage and coordinate the paid digital team to deliver to campaign objectives
- To manage and optimise paid digital advertising campaigns for a broad portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors.
-Recruiting skilled personnel and implementing appropriate training plans to maintain industry-leading skill sets
- To create effective paid digital strategies for client campaigns, using desk research and industry tools to create compelling media plans, including channel budget allocations, creative approach and performance forecasts.
- To identify further opportunities for existing clients across additional networks, channels and areas where spend can be increased, and work with relevant colleagues to present these to clients.
- Be involved in new business development by having an input into or preparing proposals wherever required
