Marketing Analytics Manager – Financial Services
 
A Unique opportunity to join one of the leading financial powerhouses across the UK and work within their dynamic marketing analytics team. With growth mapping fully in place and plans to invest over the next 5 years this is a really exciting time to join one of our most loved banks. With the core marketing office based in London and Bristol and remote working on offer this role will appeal to a wider scope of candidates across the southern region.
 
The Experience we need
  • Experience in applying market mix modelling (MMM) and/or time-series econometric modelling to provide significant insights on the performance of marketing activity in a real world business environment
  • Proficient in a wide range of analytical tools and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL and Excel
  • Meticulous in your attention to detail and have a passion for data and analytics
  • A strong grounding in a range of different statistical modelling techniques and an ability to look across multiple data sources to help uncover the insight we need to drive our business forward
The Role
 
You’ll be joining a team that operates at Board and strategic level to encourage positive change for our customers. You'll also work directly with the customer product channel and experience teams to optimise service or new product development activity. Also working closely with Marketing communication teams and external media agencies to optimise media, creative and develop campaign efficiency measurement frameworks.
 
The group have recently invested heavily in understanding the value their brands generate for the group and the impact marketing has on brand. This has allowed them to go beyond simply measuring the impact of marketing in the short term to a more holistic measurement framework. Part of your responsibility will be to continue to build our capability in this area.
 
You’ll work on a portfolio of projects centred around understanding and optimising the performance of media and marketing activity with a primary focus on above-the-line (broadcast) channels.
 
You’ll need to work with a variety of data sources such as media consumption data, new product opening / application data and brand perception data. Using your well-developed analytical skills, you'll manipulate multiple (and sometimes conflicting) data sets to arrive at practical recommendations based on your work.
 
A key element to the role is you taking your analysis and its significant insight to the next level - producing reports and packs that help our leadership team, and wider businesses make better decisions. The ability to translate sophisticated concepts and analyses into accessible and straightforward recommendations and then delivering those recommendations in the way that is suited to specific audiences and partner groups will be another factor critical to your success.
