We have a fantastic opportunity for an established PR Manager or PR Account Director looking to move in house and join a leading, nation-wide group of brands in London, who are looking to maintain and increase their strong profile within the energy division. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take the lead on PR strategy for an award-winning business.

The experience we need.

  • Around 5 years’ experience in a consumer PR role, ideally in-house for an energy brand or for a consumer PR agency having worked with energy/utility clients. Experience in a similar complex sector would also be great.
  • Building, defining and deploying consumer PR strategies from creation to delivery.
  • Expertise in traditional PR and delivering results on a national scale.
  • Effective media relations - excellent networking and people management skills with contacts across print and broadcast.
  • A confident and engaging manner, plenty of gravitas to work with different business units, strong leadership and development skills.

The role.

As the company's PR Manager you will work with the Communications Director and their award-winning PR team, but also with different internal business units, trade & consumers. We’re looking for someone who will set strategy to deliver and execute impactful PR campaigns, monitor news daily to identify new commentary opportunities, develop strong relationships with all areas of the business and work with the wider team to provide a first class press office. 

There’s a great opportunity here for a PR Manager, PR Officer or PR Account Director to take the lead in a strategic role and play a key part in overall brand building for the company's energy division.
