We've got an amazing opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager (or Account Manager ready for a step up) with a well known and respected brand strategy and marketing communications agency in the Bath area. You'll be given the opportunity to take the lead on a major chunk of work from one of their biggest, international, and well-known brand clients.

Although this is a contract role initially, they are just being cautious due to the current climate. There is a solid 3-6 months of projects in the current pipeline for the new Senior Account Manager to work on, and the purpose of the role is to free up the person who's doing this role currently so that they can step across and lead on some other new client relationships. Therefore, a permanent role after the contract period is fairly likely.

The experience we need.

The successful Senior Account Manager will need to have come from a digital or marketing agency environment and you must have delivered at least one project involving web developers (in this role you'll work with a third party development team on updates and fixes to an existing web platform, but these are mostly small changes to an existing application). Experience delivering the following would also be ideal:

  • Social media creation
  • Digital banner creation
  • Email/ HTML creation
  • Consumer assets (leaflets, brochures, posters etc.)
  • Video development
  • Website work (using a CMS to upload content and managing developers on web updates)
  • App work
  • B2B marketing experience would be an added bonus - this role is B2B2C so you'll work on a mixture of both

Personality is really important - we're looking for a Senior Account Manager who is positive and unflappable, able to handle high volumes of projects - some quick turnaround and some longer term projects, and an experienced enough Senior Account Manager or Account Manager to be able to pick apart a brief and question what's being ask, when necessary. You'll be very client focused and a great relationship builder.

The role.

It's the perfect opportunity for an energetic, go-getting Senior Account Manager who gets a real buzz out of nurturing client relationships and who is great at getting projects delivered. It'll be extremely varied and you'll get to work with clients all over the EMEA region. It'll be fast-paced and challenging, but in turn you'll be rewarded. Although a contract role initially, there is a really great longer term opportunity for progression at the end of this, if you click with one another.
