A medical society in Bristol that has a genuine impact on global health are recruiting a Society Governance Officer to join their close-knit team.  This role would suit a project manager or personal assistant because it needs someone who's incredibly organised with great attention to detail.  Someone from a university, healthcare or scientific background who has an appreciation of learned societies could also be a good fit, however a life science background is not required.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home.  They also offer comprehensive flexi-time.

• High level organisation and attention to detail.

The role.

As the successful Society Governance Officer, you'll look after society trustees and governance.  You won't be hand-held so need to be happy working autonomously.  You will liaise with the CEO, senior academics and clinicians, as well as internal and external partners and stakeholders, so you need to strike a good balance between being professional and personable.
